About Me

I do this work because I believe all individuals are of value and deserving of unconditional care and support.

As a Muslim Pakistani-American child of immigrants I had to navigate growing up between multiple cultures. My and my family's experience of oppression, trauma, and suffering led me to this path.

I believe my healing journey, practice of mindfulness, and recovery in community allows me to whole-heartedly serve others.

In my free time I enjoy being in nature, music & movement, reading, and playing with my cat, Lily.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
